abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system including a user-friendly large storage capacity ROM and RAM. A memory system including a non-volatile memory, a cache memory, a control circuit, and an information processing apparatus is configured. The speed is increased by transferring and holding the data in the nonvolatile memory to the cache memory. When transferring data from the nonvolatile memory to the cache memory, error correction is performed to improve reliability. Usability is improved by allowing the information processing apparatus to independently access the cache memory and the nonvolatile memory. A memory system composed of a plurality of chips is configured as a memory system module in which the chips are stacked on top of each other and wired by ball grid array (BGA) or bonding between the chips.
