The present invention provides an optical waveguide and an optical waveguide structure that have excellent heat resistance, low water absorption, and low material cost. An optical waveguide structure is provided in contact with both surfaces of a core layer including a core portion, a clad portion having a refractive index lower than that of the core portion, and the core layer. It has an optical waveguide 90 having cladding layers 91 and 92 having a refractive index lower than that of the core portion 93, and conductor layers 901 and 902 provided on both surfaces of the optical waveguide 90. The cladding layers 91 and 92 are norbornene-based. It is composed mainly of polymer. [Selection] Figure 1 |
