abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a rigid polyurethane foam that suppresses an increase in acid value when stored in the presence of water and an amine-based catalyst, that is, has excellent hydrolysis resistance and hardly deteriorates with time in reacting foam. A polyester polyol composition useful as a raw material for the present invention is provided. The polyester polyol composition of the present invention is used in the production of a rigid polyurethane foam using water as a foaming agent, and has an average molecular weight of 190 to 1000 (especially 190 to 600) and a carbon number of 4 to It is obtained by reacting a raw material mixture containing at least one dihydric alcohol selected from 9 (especially 6 to 8) alkylene glycols and orthophthalic acid.
