abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing paper piece having a performance of efficiently deodorizing malodors emitted from portable toilets and toilet manure, and a deodorizing method using the same. SOLUTION: A deodorant is a deodorant paper piece carried on water-soluble paper or water-dispersible paper, and the deodorant paper piece is placed in an excretion container or facility before and after defecation and urination. It is intended to deodorize manure odor. The deodorizer includes at least one compound A selected from tetravalent metal phosphates and aluminum silicates, hydrated zirconium oxide, zirconium oxide, zinc oxide, basic zinc carbonate, hydrotalcite compound or a calcination thereof. A deodorant composition comprising at least one compound B selected from the group consisting of inorganic compounds carrying at least one kind of ions, copper ions, zinc ions or manganese ions. .
