abstract |
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for reducing the sensitivity, acid permeability and discomfort of dentin. The insoluble calcium oxalate is precipitated by reacting with calcium in the dentin fluid using 99% potassium oxalate dihydrate to reduce the sensitivity and permeability of the dentin. An effective amount of potassium oxalate dihydrate having a potassium oxalate dihydrate concentration of about 1.5% to about 10.0% by weight and a pH of the solution of about 2.0 to 4.0. A method of reducing dentin permeability comprising applying to aqueous dentin with an aqueous solution. [Selection figure] None |
