titleOfInvention Fixing method of minute objects
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix, collect or observe a specific minute object such as a DNA molecule, a cell or a microorganism from a mixture of other minute objects. The method of immobilizing a micro object according to the present invention is a method for locally immobilizing a medium around a micro object to be fixed in a system comprising a medium, a support, and a micro object that reversibly cause a sol-gel phase transition. And the step of fixing the micro object together with the gelled medium to the support, adding a photocurable resin to the system, and light effective for curing the photocurable resin around the gelled medium. It consists of an irradiation stage. Further, after fixing the minute object by this method, the gelled medium containing the minute object is recovered from the cured photo-curing resin or the medium in the cured photo-curing resin is made into a sol and photo-curing resin. A minute object can be collected from the inside. [Selection figure] None
