PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving energy density and improving high-temperature storage characteristics. SOLUTION: A wound electrode body 20 in which a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are wound via a separator 23 is provided. The open circuit voltage during full charge is in the range of 4.25V to 6.00V. The separator 23 is impregnated with an electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution contains an organic sulfur compound that forms an S—S bond by oxidation and polymerizes. Thereby, the film 21 </ b> C containing the polymer having an S—S bond can be formed on the surface of the positive electrode 21, and the elution reaction in the positive electrode 21 can be suppressed.
