abstract | In the production of a liquid crystal display element by a dripping method, even when applied to an alignment film imparted with hydrophobicity, it is not repelled and a fine seal pattern is drawn. Further, the present invention provides a sealing agent for liquid crystal dropping method, a vertical conduction material, and a liquid crystal display element in which no disconnection occurs in the seal pattern. A sealing agent for a liquid crystal dropping method containing a hydrophilic curable resin and a hydrophobic component, wherein the hydrophobic component is 0.1 to 10 weights per 100 parts by weight of the curable resin.
