abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generation method and apparatus capable of generating hydrogen in a sufficient amount efficiently, safely and with good controllability, and an electrochemical energy generation method and system thereof. A water injection pipe 3 led from a water storage chamber 2 is inserted into a storage chamber 1 (accommodating portion) that stores a mixed powder 7 of hydride powder and acid powder, and is stored by injecting water. Hydrogen (H 2 ) generated in the chamber 1 is automatically supplied to the fuel cell 4 (electrochemical device) through the hydrogen supply pipe 6 due to an increase in internal pressure due to the generated hydrogen gas. On the oxygen electrode side of the fuel cell 4, a water storage unit 5 that collects the generated generated water (H 2 O) is provided, and water is recirculated from the water storage unit 5 to the water storage chamber 2.
