abstract | To produce a low-concentration sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution such as drinking water, for example, high-precision concentration control is made possible. In a chemical injection device for injecting a chemical solution (sodium hypochlorite) into raw water to generate a diluted solution of the chemical solution, the flow path of the raw water is divided into the diversion flow paths 3 and 4, and the diversion flow path 3 , 4 is provided with a chemical solution injection part 5 for injecting a chemical solution and a concentration detection means 8 for detecting the chemical solution concentration downstream of the chemical solution injection part 5, on the downstream side of the concentration detection means 8. Based on the concentration of the chemical solution detected by the concentration detection means 8, the amount of the chemical solution to be injected from the chemical solution injection unit 5 is adjusted, or the branch flow channels 3 and 4 are combined.
