titleOfInvention | Anti-fibrillation device |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to prevent the occurrence of ventricular fibrillation. A rectangular base material is sewn to the epicardial surface of a left ventricle. Four Peltier elements 12 for cooling are provided at the center of the base material 10, and a thermistor 18 for detecting temperature is provided at a part of the periphery thereof. On the surface of the substrate 10, a plurality of circular plate-shaped potential sensors / energization electrodes 14 for detecting the surface potential of the heart are arranged in a lattice at substantially equal intervals. The potential sensor / energization electrode 14 is also an energization electrode for applying a pulse voltage / current to the heart. When a ventricular tachycardia is detected, these Peltier elements 12 are energized, and after the heart has cooled, if the ventricular tachycardia does not stop, a pulse is transmitted through a plurality of potential sensors / energization electrodes 14. By applying voltage / current, ventricular tachycardia disappears at a low voltage to prevent fibrillation. [Selection] Figure 1 |
