titleOfInvention Light emitting device and image forming apparatus
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively emit light from a plurality of arranged light emitting elements by using as few signal transmission paths as possible without complicating the structure of the apparatus, and without causing damage to the light emitting elements. Provided are a light emitting device that can be mounted on a substrate such as a substrate, and an image forming apparatus including the light emitting device. A switching element T applies a trigger signal to a gate 19 of each corresponding light emitting element L in response to a scanning signal φ, and the light emitting element L is supplied with a trigger signal to a gate 19 to generate a threshold voltage or threshold voltage. Light is emitted when a light emission signal φ having a voltage higher than or greater than the threshold current is applied. A plurality of scanning signal transmission paths 15 and light emission signal transmission paths 12 in an area between two switch element arrays 13 in which the switch elements T are arranged and two light emitting element arrays 11 in which the light emitting element arrays L are arranged, and from the outside A signal transmission connection unit 76 for individually connecting the signal transmission paths is provided.
