titleOfInvention | Water repellent treatment method and substrate treated by the method |
abstract | In a water-repellent treatment by a substrate immersing method using a silane coupling agent, by appropriately adjusting the type of solvent and the concentration of the silane coupling agent, a highly smooth treated surface and an associated advanced surface Provides water repellency and water drop removal. A water repellent composed of alkylsilanes is dissolved using an aromatic solvent to prepare a solution having a concentration of the alkylsilanes higher than 25 μM and lower than 100 mM. The substrate surface is dipped to perform water repellent treatment, or a water repellent composed of fluoroalkylsilanes is dissolved using a fluorine-based solvent, and the concentration of the fluoroalkylsilanes is 0.1 to 2 mM. A water-repellent treatment method characterized by preparing a prepared solution and immersing the substrate in the solution to subject the substrate surface to a water-repellent treatment, and a substrate treated by the method.
