In a tandem rotating electrical machine, a field coil 22 of a first rotating electrical machine part 2 having a Landel rotor core 21 is shifted inward in the axial direction as compared with a stator coil 24 of the first rotating electrical machine part 2 to obtain a Landel type The field coil 32 of the second rotating electrical machine unit 3 having the rotor core 31 is shifted inward in the axial direction as compared with the stator coil 34 of the second rotating electrical machine unit 3.
