abstract | The present invention provides a calcium sequestration effect without promoting calcium elution from ink or paper, preventing precipitation of calcium salt on an ink roll of a printing press, and inorganic such as calcium carbonate. Provided is a fountain solution for lithographic printing that suppresses the occurrence of ink peeling (roller strip phenomenon) on an ink roll by preventing the adhesion and accumulation of pigment particles and exhibits good printability. A fountain solution for lithographic printing comprising a specific calcium sequestering agent and at least one selected from organic acids having pH buffering properties and salts thereof. |
