titleOfInvention | Method for treating boron-containing water |
abstract | Dissolved boron is efficiently removed from boron-containing water using a rare earth element hydrous oxide which is an inorganic adsorbent. In a method for treating boron-containing water in which dissolved boron-containing water is brought into contact with a rare earth element hydrated oxide and the dissolved boron is adsorbed on the rare earth element hydrated oxide, the boron-containing water is converted into an anion. Contact with a hydrous oxide of a rare earth element in the presence of an exchangeable substance. A substance having anion exchange ability attracts borate ions and collects borate ions in the vicinity of a rare earth element hydrous oxide. [Selection] Figure 1 |
