titleOfInvention | Inkjet recording medium |
abstract | The present invention provides an ink jet recording medium having image clarity similar to that of photographic paper for silver salt photography, high ink absorbability and coating layer strength, and a white paper that is not easily yellowed when stored in a file. At least an ink absorbing layer and a gloss developing layer are sequentially provided on a gas-permeable support, and then the gloss developing layer is coagulated with a coagulating liquid and heated while in a wet state. In an inkjet recording medium finished by press-contacting and drying on a mirror drum, the glossy layer contains at least an acetoacetyl group-modified polyvinyl alcohol as a binder, and a crosslinking agent capable of crosslinking with the acetoacetyl group in the coagulation liquid. An ink jet recording medium comprising: the support is an acidic paper. [Selection figure] None |
