abstract |
Nitrogen oxide / sulfur oxide purification method and purification capable of efficiently removing nitrogen oxide / sulfur oxide in the environment at low cost and suppressing generation of by-products An object is to provide an apparatus. A method and apparatus for purifying nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides contained in exhaust gas, comprising a dry process for generating atmospheric pressure low-temperature non-equilibrium plasma in the exhaust gas. The applied voltage is set with reference to a value at which NO in the gas is oxidized and NO 2 is maximized, and NO contained in the gas is efficiently oxidized to NO 2 , and then the exhaust gas reacts with the reducing agent solution.
