In a method for producing an ion exchange membrane in which a solvent solution of an ion exchange resin is cast on a support and then the solvent is removed, the ion exchange resin concentration is 10 to 40% by weight and the solvent solution viscosity is 30 ° C. After casting a good solvent solution of the ion exchange resin of 100 to 3000 poise, the cast product is contacted with a poor solvent of the ion exchange resin to remove at least a part of the good solvent from the cast product. And further drying at a temperature of 250 ° C. or lower. |
