titleOfInvention | Process for producing polybutadiene and rubber-modified styrenic resin composition using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a HC-HVBR by heat, oxygen, light, etc. by adding a phenolic antioxidant containing one or more sulfur bonds at or after the termination of polymerization. Manufacture of HC-HVBR, which is unlikely to deteriorate, and improved physical properties such as excellent reactivity with styrene monomer, impact resistance, gloss performance, tensile strength and tensile elongation performance, and low-temperature properties by using this HC-HVBR The object is to provide a rubber-modified impact-resistant polystyrene resin that is maintained and improved in a well-balanced manner, and further to improve environmental problems. The present invention relates to a high cis-high vinyl polybutadiene containing the sulfur-containing phenolic antioxidant in an amount of 0.01 wt% to 0.5 wt%. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a high cis-high vinyl polybutadiene characterized in that the sulfur-containing phenolic antioxidant is 2,4-bis [(octylthio) methyl] -ortho-cresol.
