titleOfInvention Ultrasonic velocity / attenuation coefficient measuring device and measuring method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a measuring method for easily and accurately measuring the ultrasonic velocity and attenuation coefficient of a solid, liquid, and biological sample up to a UHF band frequency. By thinning a liquid coupler, liquid sample, or biological sample with large attenuation, it is possible to measure ultrasonic velocity and attenuation coefficient up to the UHF band. In addition, by installing a spacer between the buffer rod and the solid sample (or solid reference sample), there is no need to adjust the distance and parallelism between the buffer rod and the solid sample (or solid reference sample). This makes it possible to reduce the size of the apparatus and simplify the measurement. In addition, in order to measure in the UHF band using this device, it is impossible to separate multiple reflections of ultrasonic waves from a thin-layer liquid medium (or biological sample). This enables measurement in the UHF band. [Selection] Figure 4
