titleOfInvention Pyrogen
abstract To prevent generation of hydrogen, which is a fatal defect of a chemical exothermic agent composed of powdered aluminum and powdered calcium oxide, which generates heat by reacting with water, and obtains a required amount of heat. SOLUTION: 1.35 grams of anhydrous MgCl 2 is added to 35 grams of exothermic main ingredient composed of 21 grams of powdered aluminum (Al) and 14 grams of powdered calcium oxide (CaO), and 60 mL of normal water is added. To cause excess water and anhydrous MgCl 2 present in the reaction system to undergo hydration and convert to MgCl 2 .6H 2 O to reduce the amount of Ca (OH) 2 to be reacted with Al Hydration enthalpy (Δ hyd H = −138 KJ mol −1 ) when anhydrous MgCl 2 causes a hydration reaction with water is used as a calorific value , A calorie of about 3886 cal / g or more is obtained.
