abstract The present invention provides a more efficient method for joining two types of ceramic members, particularly one of which is polycrystalline alumina (PCA) ceramic. In joining two kinds of ceramic members, a slurry of Al 2 O 3 powder and Y (NO 3 ) 3 solution is produced, and the slurry in the form of liquid, solid or gas and two kinds of ceramics are produced.
