titleOfInvention | Optical fiber connector, optical lens and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | An optical lens manufacturing method in which polymerization shrinkage of a resin is small and bubbles are not easily generated in the resin, and a high-precision optical lens manufactured by such a manufacturing method are provided. An optical lens according to the present invention injects resin (4, 5) into a space adjacent to a resin portion (3) embedded with a fiber strand so as to receive light from the fiber strand (2). Is formed. The resin forming the optical lens is a mixture of silica sol and photocurable resin in an amount of 40 to 60% by weight of silica. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the lens portion includes a first portion (4) that receives light from the end face of the fiber strand, and a second portion (5) that forms a lens curved surface. The portion and the second portion are made of different types of resins. [Selection] Figure 2 |
