titleOfInvention | Honing processing method, honing processing apparatus, electrophotographic photosensitive member, manufacturing method of electrophotographic photosensitive member, process cartridge, and electrophotographic apparatus |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to prevent an abrasive from adhering to the inner surface of a substrate in a honing process of a substrate for an electrophotographic photoreceptor. A honing process comprising: a roughening treatment step in which an abrasive is sprayed onto a cylindrical substrate to roughen the surface of the cylindrical substrate; and a cleaning step in which the abrasive remaining on the surface of the cylindrical substrate is washed. In the processing method, the fluid is ejected inside the cylindrical substrate at least one of during the roughening treatment step and after the roughening treatment step, thereby preventing the abrasive from adhering to the inner surface of the substrate.
