titleOfInvention | Method for preparing dope for optical film, method for producing optical film using the method, optical film, and polarizing plate using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a dope for an optical film, which can be used for a protective film for a polarizing plate used for a liquid crystal display (LCD) or the like, and whose stability is greatly improved. An optical film manufacturing method for manufacturing an optical film excellent in dimensional stability using the dope preparation method is provided. In addition, an optical film having excellent dimensional characteristics, high film strength, and improved toughness, and a polarizing plate having excellent dimensional stability using the optical film are provided. SOLUTION: When preparing a dope by mixing a hydrolyzate of metal alkoxide and a cellulose ester resin, the hydrolyzate of metal alkoxide is added to a solution in which the cellulose ester resin is mixed and dissolved with a solvent. After mixing, the mixed solution is allowed to stand for 30 minutes to 72 hours, or is stirred at a rotational speed of 60 rpm or less to stagnate. The optical film dope thus prepared is cast on a metal support by a solution casting method to produce an optical film. [Selection figure] None |
