abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant resin composition excellent in high temperature oil resistance, flame retardancy, etc., which coats the surface of a metal tube for carrying a fluid such as gas as a protective resin. . SOLUTION: The present invention includes 40 to 60 parts by mass of a thermoplastic crosslinked resin and 60 to 40 parts by mass of at least one resin selected from ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The flame retardant resin composition is obtained by adding 20 to 50 parts by mass of a flame retardant magnesium hydroxide to 100 parts by mass of the base resin. Thus, good characteristics are obtained. In particular, when used as a resin coating material such as a gas pipe, high thermal oil resistance, moderate flexibility (softness), excellent flame retardancy, high trauma resistance, excellent sheath cut, sheath pullability, etc. Is obtained.
