abstract In a conventional processing method, sulfuric acid pitch cannot be rapidly processed at a low price. Furthermore, in the conventional processing method, the processed product cannot be reused. In addition, the processing method described in Patent Document 1 requires enormous amounts of time and money for processing, and cannot be practically used. SOLUTION: To a uniform mixture formed by adding water and at least a part of the lime-based waste material and the granular material obtained by this treatment method to sulfuric acid pitch generated by petroleum refining, a neutralizing agent is appropriately added. And a surface active agent are added and mixed, and then heated and dehydrated to obtain powder particles, and at least a part of the obtained powder particles is circulated in the first reaction stirring step.
