abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a novel performance and action effect by creating a novel form of platinum-carbon composite supporting a platinum nanosheet and applying it to a catalyst or an electrode. SOLUTION: Reaction comprising platinum complex compound, two kinds of nonionic surfactants or a combination of one kind of nonionic surfactant and one kind of ionic surfactant, water, and various carbons. By preparing a mixture and then reacting the reaction mixture by adding an aqueous reducing agent solution, the skeleton is formed by platinum (Pt) which is a noble metal element, and a curved rod-like skeleton having a diameter of 1.5 to 4 nm. Nanosheets having three-dimensionally connected single crystals having an outer diameter of 20 to 100 nm and sheets in which crystals are connected, and having a sponge-like form having a network gap formed by slit-like pores having a width of 0.3 to 2 nm A platinum-carbon composite in which is supported on carbon is produced and recovered.
