abstract Disclosed are an oxide fine particle dispersion, an oxide fine particle, and a method for producing them. An oxide fine particle dispersion in which nano-sized or micro-sized oxide fine particles are dispersed in an oil layer while suppressing agglomeration, a reaction system comprising an oxide fine particle precursor aqueous solution as a starting material and oil, Oxide fine particles dispersed in the oil layer are generated by irradiating sound waves to generate water droplets of a small volume dispersed in the oil layer and hydrolyzing the precursor contained in the water droplets. An oxide fine particle dispersion comprising forming a dispersion and optionally isolating oxide fine particles from the dispersion, a method for producing the oxide fine particles, and a nano-sized oxide fine particle produced. [Effect] Nano-sized oxide fine particles with suppressed aggregation can be obtained, and the material is useful as a nano raw material for electronic materials, catalysts, paints and the like.
