PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a new kind of organic molecules to a silicon surface in manufacturing a memory element having an organic component. The present invention relates to a non-volatile memory in which organic molecules are bonded to a silicon surface via a new type of end group, in particular, bonded to the silicon surface or to the silicon nitride surface via nitrogen of a nitrile group. It relates to an element. Organic molecules create a conductive connection between two contacts (one silicon substrate). Organic molecules are composed of alternating ethynyl and aryl groups.
