abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with a small change in glossiness and capable of obtaining a stable high gloss image, a developer using the toner, a container containing a toner, a process cartridge, an image forming method and an image forming apparatus. A toner including toner base particles containing at least a releasing agent and a binder resin, wherein the toner base particles have a volume average particle diameter of 5 to 10 μm, and the toner base particles have a particle size distribution. The content of fine powder having a particle size of 4 μm or less is 8.5% by number or less, The recording medium on which the visible image is transferred by the toner is passed through a nip formed by abutment of at least two fixing members, and the obtained fixed image has a light incident angle of 60 °.
