abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that emits a pattern by irradiating light from a side surface of a light guide plate, and can easily change a complicated pattern or a pattern, and further change the color or lighting pattern of the emitted light A rich decoration effect and production effect can be obtained, and plates can be easily replaced, removed and reused, and these can be realized at a low price. SOLUTION: A display device 8 such as a desktop type or a wall-mounted type has two display plates on which a pattern is printed with paint having a property of diffusing light on a light guide plate such as an acrylic plate, and these display plates can be attached and detached. The frame includes a supporting frame and a light source unit (LED) that irradiates light to an end face of a display plate mounted on the frame. When the light propagating in the display plate hits the pattern, the pattern diffuses and the pattern emits light.
