abstract |
To improve the dispersibility of carbon nanotubes. Coating a substrate with a polymer having crown ether; drying the polymer layer having crown ether coated on the substrate to a semi-dry state; and carbon nanotubes having guanidine groups formed thereon. There is provided a method of attaching a carbon nanotube having guanidine groups formed thereon to a substrate, comprising coating the semi-dried polymer layer with a solution. The carbon nanotubes formed with the guanidine group produced by the method of the present invention are uniformly dispersed in the solvent by hydrogen bonding between the guanidine group and a solvent molecule capable of hydrogen bonding. In addition, the guanidine group is selectively bonded to the crown ether, and the carbon nanotubes on which the guanidine group is formed can be arranged vertically at regular intervals on the substrate by utilizing these properties.
