abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic that contains silicone oil and fine particle powder and that is non-sticky and exhibits a light feeling of use and also has emulsion stability. In a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic containing silicone oil and fine particle powder, a silicone emulsifier and a polyoxyalkylene benzyl ether fatty acid ester represented by the following formula (1) are used in combination. C 6 H 5 -CH 2 -O ( AO) n -C (O) -R (1) In formula (1), AO represents an oxyethylene group or oxypropylene group, R represents an alkyl group or alkylene group having 11 to 23 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer of 1 to 10.
