titleOfInvention | Method for manufacturing magnetic recording medium |
abstract | In a case where an upper magnetic layer is formed as a thin layer having a thickness of 50 nm or less by a wet-on-dry method, drying of a magnetic paint is alleviated and a high squareness ratio is realized. In a method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium 10 in which a lower nonmagnetic layer 2 and a magnetic layer 3 having a thickness of 50 nm or less are stacked on a support 1, before the magnetic layer 3 is formed. As a process, the lower nonmagnetic layer 2 is subjected to a calendar process and a thermosetting process to suppress the drying speed of the magnetic layer. [Selection] Figure 1 |
