abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally expandable microcapsule excellent in heat resistance and a method for producing hollow resin particles. SOLUTION: A polymer (X) is composed of at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, and polyamide resin, and a mixture (D) containing a polymer precursor (a) and a solvent (C) is water. From the polymer (X), characterized in that the O / W emulsion (E) obtained by dispersing in the polymer and the solution (F) of the polymer precursor (b) or (b) are mixed and subjected to interfacial polymerization. A method for producing a thermally expandable microcapsule. The method for producing hollow resin particles is characterized by further heat-treating the thermally expandable microcapsules obtained by the production method described above.
