abstract The object of the present invention is to provide optically active 1-substituted-2-propyne-1-ol and optically active 1-substituted-2-propyne-1-ol ester, particularly optically active 1-cyclohexyl. It is to provide a novel process for producing 2-propyne-1-ol and optically active 1-cyclohexyl-2-propyne-1-ol ester. An optically active (-)-(1S) is prepared by reacting a racemic 1-substituted-2-propin-1-ol with an enzyme derived from a microorganism of Aspergillus or a microorganism culture solution. -A process for producing substituted-2-propyn-1-ol acetate.
