Disclosed is a food and drink having a good flavor and containing cysteine obtained by blending a peptide having a high cysteine content, and a method for producing the same. In the production of a cysteine-enriched fermented milk food and a fermented dairy product, the peptide contains a cysteine-rich peptide having a cysteine content of 4 to 20% by mass.
