abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for suppressing an increase in blood glucose level containing an alginic acid degradation product. SOLUTION: A composition for suppressing an increase in blood sugar level according to the present invention is characterized by containing an alginic acid degradation product by SUN53 bacteria (Accession Number: NITE P-14). More specifically, the alginic acid degradation product is a relatively small molecule alginic acid degradation product that does not precipitate at 75% of ethanol. [Selection] Figure 1
