titleOfInvention | Process for producing brominated dialkyl ketone compounds |
abstract | The present invention provides a brominated dialkyl ketone compound, particularly a brominated methyl alkyl ketone compound in which an alkyl group having a small number of carbon atoms is selectively brominated, and which can be obtained easily and in high yield. A manufacturing method is provided. A process for producing a brominated dialkyl ketone compound represented by the following formula (3) according to the present invention comprises: Formula (1) [Wherein R 1 is a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms which may have a substituent, or a group represented by the formula (2) —R 2 COOR 3 (2) (Wherein R 2 is an alkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and R 3 is hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms). ] A dialkyl ketone compound represented by the formula is reacted with bromine in a methanol solvent in the presence of an acid. (In the formula, R 1 is the same as in formula (1).) [Selection figure] None |
