abstract | An aldehyde odor can be efficiently suppressed and aldehyde can be reliably captured without impairing the properties of the resin even when mixed with a polyacetal resin. A deodorant is composed of a phosphorus compound having an active hydrogen atom. This deodorant is useful for efficiently deodorizing the aldehyde odor. The deodorizing agent may be used in combination with a deodorizing aid (basic nitrogen-containing compound, weak acid or metal salt thereof, metal compound, alcohol, polyphenol, adsorptive inorganic compound) or in combination with a resin. And may be used as a resin composition. The resin composition may further contain an antioxidant, a heat stabilizer, a processing stabilizer, a weathering (light) stabilizer, a gloss control agent, a slidability improver, a colorant, a filler, and the like.
