abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable polyetherester elastic fiber having good moisture absorption / release properties and small elongation due to moisture absorption or water absorption. SOLUTION: In a polyetherester elastic fiber comprising a polyetherester elastomer having polybutylene terephthalate as a hard segment and polyoxyethylene glycol as a soft segment, the elastic fiber has a DSC curve of 2 obtained by a differential scanning calorimeter. It is assumed that the ratio Hm1 / Hm2 between the crystal melting peak height Hm1 on the low temperature side and the crystal melting peak height Hm2 on the high temperature side is greater than 1.2 and 7.0 or less.
