abstract | To provide a sheet feeding device capable of separating and feeding various types of sheets without exchanging a separation selection unit. A sheet feeding device includes a sheet feeding cassette in which sheets are stacked and accommodated, a conveyance roller, and a separation selection unit provided opposite to the conveyance roller. The separation selection unit 26 includes a sheet separation unit 74, and four inclined surfaces 28 a to 28 d are formed in the sheet separation unit 74. Further, separation pads 80a to 80d are respectively provided on the inclined surfaces 76a to 76d of the sheet separation portion 74, and the separation pads 80a to 80d are formed so as to have different friction coefficients. Accordingly, various types of sheets can be separated and fed without exchanging the separation selection unit 26. [Selection] Figure 2 |
