titleOfInvention | Method for producing metal ultrafine particle slurry and metal ultrafine particle slurry obtained by the method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of handling ultrafine particles as a slurry consistently from the process of reducing and depositing ultrafine metal particles having a primary particle size of the order of nm and finally forming a metal slurry. A method of producing a metal ultrafine particle slurry using metal ultrafine particles produced by heating a solution containing a metal compound by microwave irradiation, comprising: a metal compound, a solvent having a reducing ability, and a dispersant. Using the mixed solution, the mixed solution is rapidly heated by microwave irradiation to reduce and precipitate the ultrafine metal particles to form a first slurry containing ultrafine metal particles, and the fine metal particles contained in the first slurry are allowed to stand. Alternatively, a method of producing a metal ultrafine particle slurry is adopted, which is precipitated by a centrifugal separator, discarding the supernatant liquid to form a second slurry, and adding a solvent to the second slurry.
