titleOfInvention | Optical film and polarizing plate using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an optical film by a melt extrusion film forming method while avoiding the use of an organic solvent in order to deal with environmental problems. The surface properties after film formation are stable even if it is a thin film, and in particular, it has excellent quality such as transportability of film products, winding quality, prevention of sticking failure of film winding, etc. Provided are an optical film having surface characteristics with little change in surface physical properties, and a polarizing plate using the same. An optical film produced by a melt extrusion film formation method and having a film thickness of 95 μm or less has a coefficient of friction (A) between film contact surfaces at a temperature of 23 ° C. and a humidity of 55% RH of 1.0 or less. When the coefficient of friction between the film contact surfaces at a temperature of 23 ° C. and a humidity of 80% RH is (B), the ratio of the coefficient of friction: B / A is 1.0 or more and 1.5 or less. The polarizing plate is produced by bonding this optical film to at least one surface of a polarizer. [Selection figure] None |
