PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a function capable of removing dirt such as lipid dirt adhered to a contact lens and a function capable of effectively suppressing adhesion of dirt such as protein to the surface of a contact lens, and a cornea by destruction of a tear film. To provide a liquid composition for contact lenses that does not cause damage to the body and that is highly safe to living bodies. A specific nonionic surfactant is contained in the vicinity of a critical micelle concentration, and polyethylene glycol is contained in a large proportion with respect to the nonionic surfactant.
