abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive polymer solid oxide fuel cell oxygen electrode catalyst that exhibits catalytic properties equivalent to those of platinum. SOLUTION: A catalyst for a fuel cell containing a metal complex having an oxygen gas reducing ability, wherein the metal complex is converted into a complex center metal in an adsorption structure of a metal complex and an oxygen molecule calculated by a B3LYP density functional method. A solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell oxygen electrode catalyst characterized in that the OO bond distance of oxygen molecules to be bonded is 0.131 nm or more. [Selection figure] None |
