titleOfInvention | Radiation image forming method and image forming apparatus using photothermographic material |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming apparatus having a heat developing portion of a photothermographic material and an image digitizer, and a digital image forming method of a radiation image. An image forming method using a photothermographic material having an image forming layer containing a reducing agent, a coupler, and a binder for an organic silver salt, 1) a step of superposing the photothermographic material and a fluorescent intensifying screen to perform radiation image exposure and recording a latent image on the photothermographic material; 2) a thermal development step of converting the latent image into a visible image containing developed silver and a coupler color product by thermal development; 3) An image forming method comprising an image digitizing step of obtaining an image signal representing the radiation image by photoelectrically reading the visible image.
