abstract An object of the present invention is to provide an aluminum lake pigment of an acid dye having a high pigment ratio, a large coloring power, and excellent light resistance. In addition, crystals of an aluminum lake pigment which is an acid dye obtained by diazo coupling an acid dye with 1- (4-sulfophenyl) 3-methyl-5-pyrazolone and an aromatic sulfonic acid compound. Further, a method for producing crystals of an aluminum lake pigment, wherein an acidic dye is laked using a polyaluminum chloride having 2 or more aluminum atoms and crystallized.
